Myth 2: Understanding implies Recall..

Stage 1

We’ve seen that the traditional way of note making is not very effective.

Let’s see if we can do something better.

The same 30 words are now displayed to the same Brain (You) for the same time of 20 seconds… but, in a different way.

Now let’s see what happens…

Now – how many words were you able to recall?

Was it more than the previous Linear way?

Was this easier to understand AND recall?

Would it help if you are trained to convert your Linear notes to a more effective way of making notes?

Stage 2

Let’s do another experiment:

• Think of any word say, ‘Food’ or ‘Car’.
• Close your eyes for 10 seconds..
• What did you see?
• Did you also see an image – with some shape & colour?
• Well, this is the natural way for the Brain to work..
• So, if in the previous image we add colour & images…
• Would it make a difference to are ability to recall? Let’s check
